part of our island,especially aroundthe coastal towo of hikkaduwa coral reefs are a common sight. these coral reefs which are made up of the skeletons of millions of tiny sea creatures are also a sight of beauty and interest. A big weight of coral is broken off every

yearby those who live around fir the pupose of making lime and cement.

 

 

when  there  is  rain  and  sunshine  plans  grow  faster  and  form  in to  dense  forests.  these  forests  a reknown as tropical  rain  forests  these forest are known as tropical rain forest. These  rain  forests  become  the  habitat for  birds  and  animals.  tall  trees  become  hom  ofr  birds  as there  is  food  and  shelter.

the sea coast has long stretches of sandy, silvery beaches. the beaches in arugambay are free from tom touts, hawkers and loafers. it is an ideal place  for sea bathing for children and adults. we can walk in to the sea for  mils.

            Trees   are   one  0f   the   pleasant   things  in  nature.    but  most   people   do   not   realise   this.   they   destrou   trees    in  plenty.  without   trees   there    will   beno    rain   either.   without   rain  we  cannot  grow   our   crops.  thus,if  wkeep  on  destroying   trees  before   long   all   man-kind  will  to   fast              

                                                                                      

         My   pet   is   a  dog.   it  is  a   bullterrier.   it’s   name   is  boney.  it is  brown   in  colour.    boney   is  very   faithful  to  me.  And  I  love  it  very  much.  Every  morning,  I  give  it  soup  and  bones  too.  It  likes  to  eat  beef  very  much.  Boney  eats  cheese  too.  But  it  does  not  likes  to  play  with us.  playing   with   boney   is  one   of  my   hobbies   too.   it’s   favourite   game   is   hide   and  seek.
